I'll be the first to admit the Neckline Slimmer looks a bit silly in action, but I think the process seems quite logical. Paul Younane, the inventor of the Neckline Slimmer, is a qualified Physiotherapist and Physical Education teacher with over 20 years experience in musculo-skeletal treatment and exercise rehabilitation. He has stated:

"It's a physiological fact...your neck muscles are just like every other muscle in your body. They respond to resistance exercises in exactly the same way. If you exercise your neck, chin and jaw muscles they will firm and lift, if you don't they will weaken and sag..just like any other muscle, whether its your butt, thighs or abs. But you need to stick with the exercises for 6 to 8 weeks to get the best results. All the ladies I used in the before and after shots are local mums in my home town...their results are genuine and living proof that the Neckline Slimmer works."

If you have tried the Neckline Slimmer, leave a comment and let us know how it worked out for you. Once I receive mine, I'll be able to evaluate it and let you know my findings.

Some Positive Reviews for The Neckline Slimmer

These are some of the positive posts that I have gathered up for the Neck Slimmer from the comment section.

There are not too many of them and it seems to me that the neckline slimmer has not been around long enough.

I'm 57 yo female, overweight. Hubby bought this Neck Slimmer gizmo for me. I began using it july 31 it is now Aug 29, I am on the 2nd spring. I have pics on 7/31 and today 8/29. Their website says "dramatic" results in 8 weeks. I believe that's going to be true...already at 4 weeks i see changes and this encourages me to get busy and work the rest of my body's muscles. $20 bucks compared to 4 grand for life style lift. The Neckline Slimmer Works!

I bought the Neckline Slimmer and love it. This is a great product and I can firmly and honestly say that I am getting fantastic results. I use mine 3 minutes a day and I can feel it working, and I only use the low resistance spring. I can only imagine what I would feel with the other 2 higher resistance springs. It is a well made product, light and easy to stuff in a bag or purse. It comes with 3 resistance springs and a carrying pouch, and neck firming lotion which I have not tried so cannot comment on.

I too realized that I would be charged an extra shipping for the cream. Pay attention people, it states it on the website as clear as day, and no you cannot exclude the cream in your order so pay them $36.00 cream included.

I love this product so no regrets, and since I never opened the cream I can always sell it on Ebay and recoup my loss.

I give this product a thumbs up in portability, usefulness and results.

Oh, and people please be aware that this is meant to tone and resculp your lower face and neck. You will not get results by using it and then stuffing your face with fast food, that's like taking diet pills without eating right or exercising.

It's not a genie in a bottle or a board certified plastic surgeon. Only they can get around that.

Physiologically speaking, the theory behind the Neckline Slimmer device is sound (I am an exercise physiologist as well). It appears to target the muscles at the front and side of the neck, which, in theory, if exposed to resistance exercise, would result in this muscle group tightening over time. However, like any exercise, persistence over time is necessary--the results become noticeable gradually, over time, with continued use. It's also a plus that the device offers differing levels of intensity. PEACE-OUT!

For all you people who would like a serious response to this product....I've been using the Neckline Slimmer for about 2 weeks...2 mins a day...I am thin and only have a slightly sagging skin...can't say it's working miracles after such a short time, and I wouldn't expect it to, but I am seeing slight improvement and am going to continue using it. Honestly, I can't see this giving those with a lot of excess skin and fat dramatic results and think surgery is probably the best if not only way to get rid of it otherwise for $20 definitely worth a try.

I ordered this product from the commercial I saw, then went online to purchase it after waiting about half an hour to order it on the phone.

I have only had it a couple of days, and it works pretty well, I feel it working as I do it, so hopefully I will see results soon!

Alternative Methods (As Opposed to using Neckline Slimmer)

Some of these people commented that there may be another way to receive the same results.....

I read you could get the same results with a five inch diameter squishy ball. I'm trying that first.

Just read another review site wherein one poster made the statement that we have no muscles in our neck area outside of our trapezius.

I wonder how he/she holds their head upright without the use of the very large muscle called the Platysma (see http://theamazingeye.files.wordpress.com/2007/12/muscles_of_facial_expression.jpg) , which wraps over our jaw bone/chin, moves down along the neck, covers our jugular vein/artery, then connects at the upper chest and front shoulder area.

I've been doing a similar exercise using my hands to provide resistance. I've seen marked sharpness returning to my jawline and smoothing under my chin. This muscle has become too strong for isometric (hand) resistance, so I'm moving on to the Neckline Slimmer.

To all the doubters; enjoy your sagging faces. LOL

The internet is a wonderful way to share consumer information and perfect for discussing the issue of fraud. I commend the person who started this chat. After weeding out some of the ignorant comments I have concluded that you could receive the same benefits from resistence training with a nerf ball under your chin for say 5 to 10 minutes a day. Once again, I think it's woderful that you have choosen to investigate this product's claims first! SMART!!!

i have a suggestion for those of you who are
serious about dealing with this problem. there
are simple excercises you can perform yourself, no purchase necessary... no shipping,
no handling, no unwanted purchases, no rip-off
excess charges, no stress, no headaches.

by placing the heel of you hand underneath
your chin and replicating the excercise as
depicted in the commercial, you can completely
and totally duplicate the function of the
"neckline slimmer" and achieve the exact same
results.... however, there is one big advantage using this method.... it is all free.

other advantages include... no device to lug
around or keep track of... also, with this free
method, you can perform this excercise anytime,
any where... at work, play, at home, in the car, even during sexual activity.

you can also do a search on line and discover
other excercises for toning and strengthening
facial muscles that will improve your appearance
resulting in a younger appearance...

like NIKE says... "just do it"
it is freeeeee...

Larry is right on that one. His idea works great as well.

You can also do the reverse exercise that will tighten the jaw muscles. Open the mouth slightly and roll the lower lip over your bottom teeth. Place the index over your chin for resistance. Open and close your jaw slowly, as in a scooping motion, pushing your chin up and up as you scoop. Keep doing this until you feel a slight burn in your jawline. At this point hold while you're counting to 20; the chin should be facing up towards the ceiling. Relax and repeat 3 times.

This gets rid of the jawl sag and should complement the double chin exercise really well.

I have exercised this region with heel of my palm and the same motions, of course adding resistance with my hand. Two minutes doesn't seem long until you do this and I felt something definitely was getting worked on. To me, this device is convenient and probably works. I came looking for reviews before going to buy it.

Our faces have muscles that need to be worked out just like everything else. Even if your a physician, instead of knocking the non-ability to remove fat, put some emphasis on something like "at least it is exercising facial muscles", because, again, resistance works. I'm buying it for convenience. :)

well, i like be simple for all of you guys there is a little gap what will work doing those kind of face exercise and my conclusion is that you can do it without pay a cent just use the tissue holder

and you'll see the result maybe sounds silly but just give it a try.....

Nay-Sayers (None are actual users of Neckline Slimmer)

I've gathered up most of the theories as to why the Neckline Slimmer will not work.

Anonymous said...
I am a sicko who loves to read the reviews but I love the squeaky thing. I laughed so hard. I think you could save your money by going on a diet and getting exercise. It's done wonders for my double chin. In fact, it's also toned my arms, stomach, legs and butt. I don't think this product will do much for sagging skin. I don't see how that would work.

You can't physically localize where you will lose the fat on your body. Only exercise and diet can help you to lose the fat and your body decides where you lose the fat. This is why crunches don't make the fat on your stomach disappear.

Complete Idiots (some Neckline Slimmer posts are funny though)

Here are some of the funnier posts I've found about the Neckline Slimmer. They should provide a laugh at least!

I bought one and CANNOT believe how well it works!! I haven't stopped pointing out my newest self improvement feature to everyone I know. I now have the ramrod straight chin of a Marine Drill Instructor. I no longer have fatty flesh hanging like a Pelicans sack. AND, I've lost 37 lbs!! My neck is now my favorite feature apart from my cankles. A day after using the Neckline Slimmer, I can no longer turn my head any direction but up or down, and I LOVE the fulfilling sensation of a solid 2 minute workout. And I found other applications; I used the Neckline Slimmer as a pogo stick for my hamster! She bounced around for hours until the cat had enough. I used the low pressure spring as a shock absorber in my new Vera Wang heals. And, the European cream is better than Carnuba Wax on the furniture and tastes great on Rocky Road ice cream. PS, anyone who buys this product should move to Somalia RIGHT NOW for fantastic oceanfront (or urban center) real estate deals.

I purchased the Neckline Slimmer and am just so amazed at how well it works.

My bedroom door is a little warped and, when I opened it all the way, it had started to damage my wall. You could actually see the outline of my doorknob on the wall from the friction. I was looking at a whole new paint job.

What the infomercial doesn't tell you was how well Neckline Slimmer works as a door stop. It is just the right size. so I can now open my bedroom door and the knob doesn't hit the wall.

Since I have used Neck Slimmer my bedroom wall is starting to look much nicer. I still have the cream and have decided to try it on the wall to see if I can remove the earlier discoloring.

I could not be happier.

BUY THIS PRODUCT! It saved my marriage! My husband was about to leave me, and he made it clear that it was primarily due to the 8 inches of wobbly flesh beneath my chin. In desperation I bought one of these and started using it, although I have to admit I was doing it for more than 3 minutes a say...more like 3 hours. What can I say...I was desperate. But within a week my chin skin disappeared...POOF! Just like that! But wait...it gets better! Once my neck area was looking all slender and sexy, I decided to try it out on my other trouble spot - my thighs. I could never use any other thigh-slimming products because, with the size of my thighs, I couldn't get anything in there. But this gadget fit in that little space just perfectly, and with just a few squeezes I could start to feel the difference. Soon enough my thighs had slimmed down to the point where I could get larger gadgets in there, and now they are sleek and slender, and I can wear normal clothes again (at least on the lower half of my body).

The best part is that my husband is looking at me in a whole new light, and you know what THAT means. Which reminds me - I also found a great use for the cream! Don't throw it out, ladies - it tingles!

I haven't been this happy with an online product since I bought a wolf-moon t-shirt last year.

Just to add my 2 cents... I got good results with a "lean it anywhere" cat scratching pad which I bought in Walmart. BTW, this is no joke. I live in Canada, and the Neckline Slimmer is not yet available here. But I liked the idea and got a substitute that works for me.

The scratching pad is a flattened cylinder with an ellipsoidal cros-section, quite elastic, and when pushed down, bounces back. The sides have more bounce (that's the area that I'm using), while the middle is quite rigid. The cover is rough carpet, but can be covered with a piece of cloth before placing your chin on it. It has two solid rubber grips on the side that can be used for holding.

Sit with your back straight and hold the scratching pad with both hands at chin level. I usually hold it slightly inclined (sloping down outwards from the chin) in order to fit the natural chin profile. Push your chin down about 10 times X 3. You can smile while doing this for added benefit. You can also keep your jaw open while pushing down. This way the workout extends to the jaw and and cheekbone.

That's what I noticed so far: after two weeks of practice (once or twice a day) the neck is firmer, the slight jowl sag disappeared and the area under the chin is uplifted and firmer. My cheeks also look firmer, especially the area around my mouth.

So that's to say that resistance training does work. It's not a quick fix and it requires a lot of determination, but it builds your looks from inside, with no risks, no scarring and virtually no money.

PS. Compared with the neckline slimmer, my scratching pad is quite unsophisticated and will not let you adjust the level of resistance, but at least it doesn't squeak. And the cat still gets to use it when I'm not!
